Assam High School TET Notification 2019-Government of Assam Education (Secondary) Department, Member Secretary, TET Empowered Committee for Secondary Education has issued a Official Notification of Medium TET Assam 2019 of secondary level (Assam High TET 2019). High School TET Assam 2019 Online application will be started from 15.11.2019 to 30.11.2019.
Date of submission of Online Application for Medium wise TET for Secondary Education is extended till 30/11/2019.
Consequently online fee submission date has been extended till 04/12/2019

Assam High School TET Notification 2019 Details:
It is for general information to all aspiring candidates in pursuance to the earlier advertisement of Medium TET of secondary level in Assamese/Bengali/Bodo /Hindi /Manipuri medium, vide Advertisement No. RMSA/Special TET/842/2017/80 dated 31/07/17 (for Assamese medium), RMSA/ Special TET /842/ 2017/85 dated 31/07/17 (for Bengali medium) , RMSA/Special TET/ 842/2017/70 dated 31/07/17 (for Bodo medium), RMSA/Special TET/842/2017/75 dated 31/ 07/17 (for Hindi medium),RMSA/Special TET/842/ 2017/65 dated 31/07/17 (for Manipuri medium) that Medium TET for secondary level will be held on 22nd December 2019.
Thereby online applications are invited from eligible candidates having permanent residence in the state of Assam .
1. The districts have been grouped into several zones and a candidate has to select his/her preferred Zone while applying for the TET itself. After qualifying in TET, he or she will get preference for engagement as a teacher in his preferred Zone in accordance with the Government Notification No PMA.277/2019/7-A dated 22/08/2019.
2. All concerned are requested to download the detailed concerned Advertisements from http://ssa.assam.gov.in
3.The Syllabus for Medium TET is also available in the official website http://ssa.assam.gov.in Interested candidates may download the same.
4. Candidates who have applied against our earlier medium TET advertisements as mentioned above, need to revisit the online application portal for selection of zones as per their preferences and they have to upload the information and pass certificate of B.Ed in the online portal.
5. The date of examination may be rescheduled in case of any unavoidable circumstances.
6. Online application will be available at http://sse.assam.gov.in from 15.11.2019 to 30.11.2019.
Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification for Assam High School TET 2019
Graduate Teacher: Graduate/Post Graduate atleast 50% marks from recognized university and Bachelor of Education(B.Ed) from National Council for Teachers Education recognized institution, but Graduate/Post Graduate/B.Ed Degrees obtain from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid.
Hindi Teacher: Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks and degree qualification with 50% marks or Post Graduate degree in Arts with 50% marks from any recognized university, but Graduate/Post Graduate Degrees obtain from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid.
Or,
BA with 50% marks and having Hindi as one of the subject with 50% marks or postgraduate degree in Arts with 50% marks provided that he/she has passed BA with one of the subject as Hindi with 50% marks in Hindi.
And,
BT/B.Ed degree from any recognized university ( Prangat to be treated as B.Ed degree only for the purpose of Hindi teaching) but Degrees obtain from off-campus and distance education
Classical Teacher (Arabic, Sanskrit, Urdu, Persian etc): MM with 50% marks/ 50% marks in the concerned subject and degree qualification with 50% marks or Post Graduate degree in Arts with 50% marks from any recognized university,
but Degrees obtain from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid.
Or,
BA with 50% marks having Arabic as one of the subject with 50% marks or Post Graduate degree in Arts with 50% marks provided he/she has passed BA with one of the subject as Arabic with 50% Marks in Arabic.
And,
BT/B.Ed degree from any recognized university. But Degrees obtain from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid.
Classical Teacher (Assamese Language, Manipuri Language): B.A with Honours/ Major in concerned subject with 50% marks and B.T. /B.Ed. degree from any recognized University. But Degrees obtain from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid.
However all Eligibles Check candidates may note that,
1. B.T / B. Ed. Degree from recognized university is a mandatory prerequisite eligibility qualification for applying for the TET examination.
2. The candidate must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Assamese language as one of the subjects or having Diploma in Assamese language issued by the Axom Sahitya Sabha or read upto HSLC level in Assamese medium school.
Note: Provided that in case of recruitment of teacher for teaching MIL subject, the candidate passing HSLC examination with that particular MIL subject shall be considered.
Age Limits:
The candidate age must not be less than 21 years of age. During the appointment in Govt./Prov. Schools upper and lower age limit will be applicable as per the Govt. rules/ act.
The age will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card/ Certificate issued by a recognized Board/ Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.
Application Fee:
The candidates who have applied earlier vide advertisement no.RMSA/STET/343/2014/1, dated 30/06/2014 need not pay the fee for this TET provided the applicant have to mention his/her online Application Number against our earlier advertisement no. RMSA/STET/343/2014/1 dated 30/06/2014 in the form.
Fee payable: Rs 400/- (Rs. Four hundred only)
Fee can be paid online mode through SBI collect
Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other
examination or selection
Minimum Qualifying Marks for passing Assam Secondary TET 2019:
To qualify in Assam Secondary TET Examination the candidate must score at least 60% marks. However, 5% relaxation in marks will be given for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD. The candidate whose degree of physical disability is more than 40% are only eligible to apply, under the PWD/PH.
Not with standing the minimum prescribed marks secured in TET Examination, the number of candidates declared as TET Examination qualified would be a maximum of double the number of vacancies of Teachers and such candidates will be determined as per merit position.
Assam Secondary TET 2019 Certificate Validity:
Those who pass the TET will be awarded a certificate. The validity of the certificate shall be for a maximum period of till 7 (Seven) years from the date of issue of the certificate by the Empowered Committee, Government of Assam subject to the condition that the candidate otherwise fulfills the eligibility criteria prescribed for recruitment to the services in Government of Assam.
